(1) The position of director shall be deemed to be vacant in the following cases:- (a) If he is not qualified to be a director according to section 7, or (b) if his resignation from the position of director is accepted by the Government of Nepal, or (c) if he is unable to attend due to any extenuating circumstances, without giving notice. If he is absent from more than three committee meetings, or (d) if a two-thirds majority of the general meeting decides to remove the director from that position.
